Our Voice, Our Vote Arizona Responds to New NYT/Siena College Poll

Polls show tight race in Arizona, urgency of organizing work

Phoenix, AZ — According to a new poll out today from New York Times / Siena College, “About 15 percent of the electorate in Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina described themselves as undecided or not definitely decided, leaving open the possibility that they could still change their minds.”

In response, Our Voice, Our Vote Arizona executive director Sena Mohammed released the following statement:

“Arizona stands to make our break the outcome of the election. We’ll decide whether to move the country toward a brighter future with shared prosperity and shared freedom or back to a time where the wealthy and well-connected divide us against each other to enrich themselves. As Vice President Harris always says: we’re not going back. But that means we have to put in the work. Poll after poll tells us the same thing: The margin in this election is going to be razor thin. In 2020, Joe Biden won by less than 11,000 votes. There are 20 times that many Black voters in Arizona, and we’re not leaving anything to chance. We are on track to knock on a million doors – because each one might be the vote that changes history.”
